| | Aerobic Kickboxing Did you know… ...That you can burn over 600 calories in a 45 minute Kickboxing class? Aerobic Kickboxing… ...Your Antidote to Workout Boredom! “Why should I take aerobic kickboxing?” Burn calories, define muscle, and build endurance. Challenge yourself, take pride in your increasing strength. Learn new self-defense tactics. If these concepts sound appealing, then Aerobic Kickboxing is right for you. Aerobic Kickboxing is a unique workout from class to class; with a combination of cardio, boxing drills, circuit training, core strengthening, and more, classes promise to be a fresh experience each time! Beginners and advanced students alike will walk out of each class with a sense of accomplishment. That’s because students are expected to train at their own personal fitness level. Novices are encouraged to “keep moving” to build endurance. Advanced students are challenged daily to improve technique and offered advice on how to rev up their workout to prevent the dreaded “plateau”. “But I’m overweight/out of shape—I’m embarrassed to start!” No one is ever too “old”, “fat”, “out-of-shape”, or “unhealthy” to begin an exercise program. The first step is always the hardest in beginning something new! Wear a comfortable pair of athletic shoes, and athletic attire– whatever you feel most comfortable exercising in. It’s a good idea to bring a water bottle and a sweat towel as well. Remember, every journey begins with one step, and that includes your “journey” to become the healthy, fit, strong person you were meant to be! One student says, “My energy level, strength, muscle mass, and endurance have increased exponentially since beginning Aerobic Kickboxing a year ago. My self-esteem is sky high; when you are happy with yourself, your outlook on life is so much sweeter!” About the Instructor… Taylor Southwick is your kickboxing Instructor, as well as a nationally recognized Certified Tae Kwon Do Instructor.
